Tournament rules


1.
Mode of playing: Open air Tournament for mixed Teams (at least 2 women on the court).

The playing time will be 2 x 8 minutes in every round. Each set will be started and stopped centrally. At the final whistle, the ball played will be stopped. No time-outs; 2 replacements per set.

Mode of playing:
a) Higher level:
On Saturday, every team will have 5 matches (6 teams per group). On Sunday, you play in different levels: the top 3 of each group will play in Higher Level I, the others in Higher Level II (12 teams in 2 groups). Every team will play 5 matches, followed by 1 final match in Higher Level.

b) Just for fun:
On Saturday, every team will have 5 matches (6 teams per group). On Sunday, you play in different levels: the top 4 scorer of each group will play in “Superhobby” (12 teams) and the others in “Rotlichthobby” (6 teams). Every team will play 5 matches, followed by 1 final match for “Superhobby”.

The team on the right hand side of the referee serves.

Arbitration will be provided by not playing teams: at least 1 referee and 1 writer. The referee is located at the post showing the court number. Please refer to the Program regarding the arbitration of the matches.

Match evaluation: 2 points per set won, 1 point each in case of 2 draw. In case of even points of teams after the first round, it will be counted as follows: 1. Points and 2. Difference between points lost and won. In case on non-showing up of a team, it will be counted 12 – 0.

Additionally, the international rules for Volleyball in accordance with the rules of the FLVB (Luxemburgish Volleyball Federation) apply.

The team captains are requested to check the correctness of the entries in the game report sheet after the end of the match and to sign it.

The game report sheets and whistles have to be returned to the Tournament Management immediately.

Please bring your own balls, as the organizer will not provide them.
11.
Playing with cleats is strictly prohibited for safety reasons.
12.
The organizer declines any liability for lost or stolen objects and injuries. Non-licensed players participate in the tournament at their own risk.
13.
Camping at your own risk. The sites are not supervised. Any claims for regress cannot be asserted against the organizer.
Open fire and BBQ are strictly prohibited on the site.
14.
It is played at any weather condition.
The tournament management irrevocably regulates any regulations not listed here. The tournament management reserves the right to make short-term changes.
